Description

The inscriptions collected in volume IG VII2 3 were revisited between 2018 and 2022. On 89 plates, this volume is the first to document those that have been preserved in photographs. Indices capture the names, institutions, vocabulary, and grammar of the Tanagra inscriptions. The volume contains inscriptions from Tanagra, as well as the towns of Aulis, Hyria, Pharai, Eilesion, Eleon, Harma, Mykalessos, and the Sanctuary of Apollo at Delion.

Klaus Hallof war von 1990 bis 2023 Leiter der Arbeitsstelle Inscriptiones Graecae an der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften.

Yannis Kalliontzis ist Assistand Professor für Alte Geschichte an der Universität Korkyra und war von 2020-2021 A.v.Humboldt-Stipendiat an den Inscriptiones Graecae.

Alexandra Charami ist Leiterin der 9. Ephorie für Prähistorische und Klassische Altertümer Böotiens in Theben.
