Description
In 1920, Otto Meissner became Chief of the Office of the Reich President, a post he held until 1934. In late 1937, Adolf Hitler then appointed the native Alsatian to the post of State Minister, with Meissner serving as the head of the Führer's presidential chancellery until 1945.
