Description
The first volume of the Catalogue of Late Medieval Magical Literature presents Latin and German-speaking literature on palmistry. It provides an overview of the development and transmission of chiromantic literature from the twelfth to sixteenth centuries, encompassing 44 Latin and 16 German-speaking chiromantic texts in approx. 120 manuscripts and 60 printed works.
