Description
Niklas Luhmann's Social Systems (1984) is the cornerstone for his elaboration of systems theory. In this work, Luhmann adopted and transformed traditional terminology to develop his own terminology of systems theory. The essays in this volume facilitate access to Luhmann's systems theory through explanations of the chapters of his book that follow the chronology of the original work with the aim of improving and deepening understanding.
