This collection of essays offers a range of pedagogical tools and tips for new and experienced teachers of poetry at the university level. Centred around a core commitment to the study of poetic close reading, the volume shows how different practitioners respond to the challenge of close reading in a host of exciting ways, often using pioneering pedagogy to vitalise the language and formal mechanics of poetry for undergraduates.
