Description

COVID 19 in Dental Practice: A Reference Manual for Oral Healthcare Professionals is a ground breaking volume that documents how the pandemic reshaped oral healthcare delivery and disrupted dental training programs worldwide. Drawing on contributions from more than 30 international experts, it distils clear, evidence based insights on the virus, its systemic and oral manifestations, and the evolving safety standards that continue to influence clinical practice. The book is organised into four sections covering the global impact of the pandemic; the biology and behaviour of SARS CoV 2; its systemic clinical features; and the oral health considerations that are still emerging. Together, these sections provide a practical, authoritative guide for clinicians navigating a post pandemic world while preserving the lessons learned under extraordinary pressure. This landmark resource honours the resilience of the dental profession and strengthens preparedness for future infectious threats.
