This book reveals how sovereign, non-sovereign, and sovereignty-aspiring actors at the edges of the Westphalian system—particularly in post-/settler-colonial spaces and neo-imperial zones rife with conflict—profoundly reshape world politics beyond the usual anarchy-versus-hierarchy debate.
