Description

The purpose of this book is to examine the Palestinian National Movement (PNM), whose cause has become one of the most broadly recognized political issues on the international agenda. This book posits that the PNM s political strategy rests on a hybrid warfare approach, which it seeks to investigate. This book makes an original empirical contribution to the literature on the PNM by investigating the ideological, political, and historical underpinnings of the processes that explain the PNM s political identity strategy and goals. It also makes an original contribution to the securitization and hybrid warfare literature by presenting Hybrid Warfare Securitization Theory (HWST). This book also constitutes an original contribution to the political literature of the modern Middle East. Drawing on extensive research, the book offers crucial insights for policymakers, researchers and the public interested in new trends in hybrid warfare, counter-terrorism, and the Israel-Palestine conflict.
