He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Pukyong National University, Pusan, Korea, in 2002 and 2004, respectively. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. Currently, he serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM. His research interests include robust control, nonlinear control, mobile robot control, kinematics and dynamics of mechanisms and machines.
Mai-Ha Phan received the B.S. degree from School of Management, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM in 200o, M.S. degree of Industrial Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology in 2001 and Ph.D. degrees from Pusan National University, Korea in 2015. At present, she is an Associate Professor in Department of Industrial Systems Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM. Her research interests consist of optimization and system design in industry factory, logistics and supply chain. Mai-Ha Phan has made significant contributions to his field through his research, resulting in numerous papers for publication.
Ha Quang Thinh Ngo received the B.S. degree from Department of Mechatronics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM in 2006, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Department of Intelligent System from Dong-Eui University, Korea, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. At present, he is an Associate Professor in Department of Mechatronics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM. His research interests consist of motion control, real-time systems, and control theory. Dr. Ngo was a member of the Editorial Board in several International Journals, and served as Co-Chair/Technical Program Committee in several International Conferences. In addition, he also plays a role as reviewer in some prestigious journals. He received the VNU-HCM Award for Research Excellence in 2020, 2022 and the Royal Academy of Engineering Fellowships for Leaders in Innovation in 2021.
Thanh-Hai Nguyen is with the Head Department and Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, HCM City University of Technology, Vietnam. His research interests include ultrasonic plastic welding, ultrasonic-assisted arc welding, ultrasonic-assisted casting and materials heat treatment. He had published more than 20 papers. He has undertaken more than 05 projects from Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City and Department of Science and Technology, HCM City, Vietnam.
