This book is of interest to practical engineers and scientists in the field of ecology and energy. This book presents modern approaches to solving environmental and energy problems as the basis for sustainable development of civil infrastructure. The purpose of the book is to summarize international experience in environmental and energy engineering solutions for sustainable development of civil infrastructure, namely: the formation of scientific and design directions for the development of ecology and energy in the context of infrastructure; the development of fundamental and applied research in the field of infrastructure and related sciences; the formation of recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of engineering solutions. Dr. Uzakov Gulom is a doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty Industrial Thermal Power Engineering . He received the scientific knowledge of a professor in the specialty Power plants based on renewable energy sources in 2018. Since 2011, he has been working as a vice-rector for research and innovation at the Karshi Engineering and Economics Institute (Karshi, Uzbekistan). He also works as a professor at the Department of Alternative Energy Sources and is the head of the research center Energy Saving and Renewable Energy Sources. Published more than 300 scientific articles in scientific journals and conference proceedings on energy, energy and environmental projects, engineering solutions, and the development of local technologies for sustainable development of territories. As a result of his activities, he has patented more than 10 patents in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Dr. Geetha Devi is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, National University of Science & Technology, College of Engineering. Dr. Devi has more than 30 years of Academic, Industrial, and Research experience in various Organizations & Institutions. Her current research area is the development of new environmental designs and approaches for wastewater treatment and she also works on energy issues and has over 80 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Dr. Devi has received 16 funded research project awards from The Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation (MoHERI)/National University, and she received the Best Researcher award from National University during the A/C year 2020 21. She has edited a Book on Environmental Nanotoxicology published by Springer Nature. Dr. Devi is currently supervising 5 Ph.D. research scholars in the area of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Nanotechnology and produced 2 Ph.D. s. Dr.
