Full Description
The sustainable consumption of resources is at the heart of most strategies to address climate change. Servitization towards sustainable smart product-service systems is one of the central means of coping with the paradox of sustainable growth. This book provides a comprehensive exploration of product-service systems (PSS), which offer a more efficient sharing-based service business model, and particularly the role of digital innovation to create more sustainable PSS models.
There is a need for increased knowledge regarding the content and process of servitization towards sustainable smart product-service systems. This book combines studies from global experts, exploring sustainable product-service systems in a variety of organizational contexts. Individual chapters explore artificial intelligence, circular economy, value capture, supply chain, and many other topics. It will be of great interest to students and scholars of servitization, operations management, digital business and innovation strategy.
