Founded in 1988 by Professor Mamadou KANDJI, Bridges aims at promoting the scientific productions of researchers from Africa,its diaspora and the world at large.
After the release of its 12th number, Women's Studies, Diasporasand Cultural Diversity, Bridges proposes a new number again dedicated to Women. The present issue, New Research Perspectiveson Women's Studies, contains 10 insightful essays in English andFrench which examine Women as a "writing site" and bring to light the ways literary imagination captures their identity, status and predicament, to name but a few, within various social, cultural and traditional contexts across the world.
