基本説明
How do teachers design and deliver a sequence of tasks that sustains learner effort to use the L2 (second language), from beginning to end, and which simultaneously leads to L2 learning and development? In responding to this pedagogic question, this volume presents theoretical connections among three significant areas of language learning - tasks, abilities, and aptitude. For research into aptitudes, abilities and task demands to be cumulative, and its potential for pedagogic application during instructional systems design to be made clear, the author proposes a working taxonomy of task characteristics that can be linked to measurable differences in the abilities learners bring to task performance.
Full Description
This book tells the exciting story of the discovery in July 2000 of Pepouza, the most Holy City in the theology of Montanism, a prophetic sect of early Christianity, and an imperial estate on which Tymion was located. The discovery culminates three years of careful study and preliminary field work preceded by a further thirty years of Montanist research by Professor William Tabbernee who led the discovery. This book also details the archaeological surface survey campaigns conducted from 2001 to 2004 at the sites. These campaigns, directed by original "team"-member Professor Peter Lampe, have already revealed a great deal of specific information concerning the ancient site of Pepouza and the imperial estate around Tymion.
