Teig's Big Back Yard is the winner of the inaugural A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. The poetry collection was selected by Stephen Dobyns, who has also written the Foreword. Teig is the newest poet in a distinguished series. He is the founder of Jubilat, a new literary magazine out of UMass. His poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Field, The Ohio Review, and The Gettysburg Review.
