At Cannon Hall Farm, we believe that food can be therapy. That the simplest of pleasures can be the most memorable and worthwhile. We all love sharing our family recipes, and writing this book has brought back memories of people who are no longer with us, but who have played a precious part in our journey. This book is a journey into our family folklore, with tales from the past, alongside recipes that we've grown to love. A celebration of the dishes mum loved to cook when we were kids, through to the dishes inspired by her, and other friends and family, and on to those that I love to cook today. I hope this recipe book becomes food splattered, and dog eared, in the way that the best cookery books do.
