the Signing Friends - a series focused on helping you and your child learn
Makaton through story books. Produced in association with the Makaton
Charity.
Each
book features colourful and inclusive illustrations alongside stories that
utilise vocabulary from the Makaton Language Programme. Inside you'll
find a QR code which will take you to a bespoke video demonstrating how to sign
the text so that you can in turn read and enjoy the book with your child/ren. Please
note Makaton signs and symbols are not featured in the book. There will be
supporting resources available for each title.
It's a busy week for Poppy - learn the signs for the
days of the week as Poppy ticks off all the jobs from her 'to do' list. The
story features lots of relevant vocabulary for places to go and people to see.
