Arvo Pärt, today the world's most performed living composer, spoke with Karol Beffa, Bertrand Dermoncourt, and Jordi Savall in Berlin in 1996 and 2000. Their conversations are here published for the first time, with an introduction and annotations by Dermoncourt, and an in-depth appraisal by Beffa on Arvo Pärt's music. A concomitant publication in French, Arvo Pärt, is likewise forthcoming from Hermits United in 2026.
