This is the second volume of a new edition of a classic work, the annotated collection of waiata made by a distinguished Maori leader and scholar and previously published in four volumes by the Polynesian Society with English translations of the first three volumes by another great Maori scholar Pei Te Hurinui Jones. This completely redesigned and reset edition includes two CDs of waiata drawn from the Archive of Maori and Pacific Music at the University of Auckland. Volume One of this edition, published in 2004, was so successful it will be reprinted along with this volume.
