This monograph presents an audit of the health and care needs of the elderly, carried out in Formby. It covered focus groups and identified local needs: the views of professionals - Social Services, District Nurses and Health Visitors; the views of carers and their support groups; and the experience of elderly citizens. Intensive interviews with selected respondents are presented, and findings and recommendations provided.
