Ventry Calling is a translation of Bearnard Ó Lubhaing's beautifully written Ceann Trá hAon - a memoir originally published in 1998 by Coiscéim and now translated by Gabriel Fitzmaurice. It is a loving, frank look at life as Bearnard saw it in the village of his youth.
