Volumes 1-3 of "Medium Companies of Europe" - a companion title to the well-established "Major Companies of Europe" annual - provide data on the "rising stars" of European business. Whereas "Major Companies of Europe" provides data on the largest 8,000 companies throughout Western Europe, "Medium Companies of Europe" provides similar information for the medium-sized companies, of which approximately 7,000 are detailed in the three volumes. Th same data structure is given for each medium-size company as for each major company, that is: name, address, phone, fax, telex, name of the chairman or president, names of each of the board members, names and job titles of senior management; principal activities of the company; principal brand names and trademarks; principal subsidiaries and associated companies; bankers; number of employees; financial information for past two years of principal shareholders. All companies are indexed three ways: throughout Europe, by country and finally by business catagory within each country.
Volume one covers medium-sized companies in the continental European community, volume two medium-sized companies in the UK and volume three medium-sized companies in Western Europe outside the European Community.
