Hardback notebook bound in British cloth. High quality. The Ramsay Blue tartan dates to the 1700s. It has blue stripes that signify loyalty to the Scottish Crown, with black a symbol of strength, and the white, purity. The Ramsay clan are of Anglo-Norman origin dating to the time of David I. One Ramsay was compelled to subscribe allegiance to Edward I of England in 1292 but in 1314 supported Bruce at Bannockburn, and signed The Declaration of Arbroath. There are many notable Ramsays.
