Stewart Hunting Large hardback (21cm x 13cm) Notebook with 192 blank pages on 80gsm FSC paper. With pen loop. The colour of the tartan is predominantly green and black, with overchecks of red, yellow and blue. Hunting tartans are more sombre for everyday or hunting wear.
Hunting tartans date back to the 16th century. This tartan was used by Prince Albert at Balmoral Castle for carpets.
The Waverley commonplace notebook is bound in genuine Stewart Hunting tartan woven in the UK. Commonplace notebooks date back to the Scottish enlightenment and examples of those used are by Robert Burns, Adam Smith, David Hume, and later writers such as Sir Walter Scott, Arthur Conan Doyle and Virginia Woolf. We use paper from sustainable forests and it is FSC EUDR compliant.
