Full Description

David Nash's sculptures travel the world, but this internationally acclaimed artist has chosen to live and work in Wales. Some of the artworks closest to his heart grow in his woodlands at Cae'n y Coed, planted, nurtured and tended throughout David's long career. His wooden sculptures have found a home in the lovely chapel studio at Capel Rhiw in Blaenau Ffestiniog where they nourish his artistic vision. A rich knowledge of the environment is central to David's work and he has developed an intimate understanding of trees, bringing us closer to these wonders of the natural world.
