Kintyre poet and historian Angus Martin's interest in placea'names extends back over 40 years. This meticulously researched exploration covers over 200 Gaelic place-name elements, plus many others of Norse, Scots and English origin. Over 1200 individual place-names are examined, from the well-known to the obscure and forgotten.
