'Past Lives' highlights influential figures whose legacies still shape the city, including the posthumous fame of Guy Fawkes. 'Years of Welcome' turns to modern York, celebrating its pubs, cafés, and communal spaces. All of this rests on deep historical context reaching back to the city's beginnings.
