Building on the foundations of Level 1, children develop their ability to tackle more complex words. Level 2 introduces adjacent consonants, consonant digraphs, and vowel digraphs - giving students the tools to decode a much wider range of written English with growing confidence. Each book contains 15 units of learning, and every unit guides children on how to blend and segment sounds to read and spell words. There are integrated readers in every unit that can be pulled out and read in class or taken home, as well as regular review lessons to monitor progress.
