Full Description
When Bethan begins opening her heart to a counsellor and starts to deliberate on there being more to life than the mundane, she is unaware of how her self-reflection and her recent struggles will be the catalyst for her mental health problems.
Beth is brought past the brink of sanity through a night of visions and hallucinations and subsequently tumbles down a spiritual rabbit hole. A rabbit hole where angels, spirits and energy come alive and life is anything but the life she has come to know.
After what seems like a fateful meeting with a stranger on a beach, Beth's walk with the angels turns into a walk with demons and an implosive entrance into the deeper world of psychosis commences. A planned meeting with that same stranger sees Beth renounce New Age spirituality and come to call on Jesus and rest her mind at the foot of the cross. But the demons don't go away, and when Beth embarks on a camping trip with her new Christian friends, things take a dire turn for the worse.
In late 2021, Beth gets sectioned under the Mental Health Act and starts her three-year journey to recovery at a hospital in the East Midlands.
