Through verse and free verse, these works - divided into six thematic sequences - explore enduring themes including ambiguities, memories, and personalities. Commenting on ideas, ideals, and ills, this diversity of deliberations observes and objectifies a range of contrasting worlds, including odes on features of landscape, culture, imagery, and reality.
Inspired by the epic and the ordinary, Robert Stansfield-Cudworth has been composing poems since childhood. This poetry - representing his 'first fruits' from 1994 to 2009 - offers a captivating assemblage of reflections, meditations, and inspirations encompassing art, beauty, and creativity.
