It was a golden era for football and the strip. Melchester Rovers had a strong team during the latter half of the 70s, reaching a European Cup Final in '78 and the UEFA Cup in '79. It was a time in which the team looked for new talent from overseas and managed to land Varagosa's greatest player, Paco Diaz.
