Full Description
During the 53e Rencontre Assyriologique Internationale, a workshop focusing on city administration in Neo-Babylonian times was held in St. Petersburg. Approximately a dozen papers from that workshop are published here, on various topics such as city planning, correspondence, legal procedures, the role of astronomy, personal status in society, and local governance in southern Babylonia during this era.
