Full Description
One element of historical work that greatly enriches the entire field is the importance of perspective in understanding the past. Approaching history from diverse individuals' points of view, or with a particular sensitivity to group objectives or experiences, or through a particular disciplinary lens can yield distinctive new understandings of the past.
