Eighty percent of the data saved on Big Data systems today is deemed unstructured. Unfortunately, in the world of analytics, unstructured data carry the connotation of data that are "unanalyzable" or partially analyzed at best. This book examines the difficulties that often arise in the analysis of human language, as today's major source of unstructured data. In addition, some of the creative work-around techniques currently employed in the analysis of free-form text are presented and examined.
