Module 9 discusses the many factors involved in teaching courses online. The topics include preparation for online teaching, the competencies needed by online faculty, communication in the online course, humanizing the online course, and labs and hands-on activities. The sections included in this module are as follows: section 1: teaching online: an overview; section 2: preparation and faculty competencies; section 3: maintaining communication from a distance; and section 4: humanizing the online class.
