Full Description
Travel Trends presents the main annual results from the International Passenger Survey (IPS), which collects information from a random sample of passengers as they enter or leave the UK by the principal air, sea and tunnel routes. Updated annually, Travel Trends presents detailed analyses on visits overseas residents made to the UK and on visits UK residents made abroad. It also presents information on the long-term trends in travel to and from the UK, over a twenty-year period, and also shorter term trends, over a five-year period. It is the key guide to travel patterns and shows why and how people travelled, where they stayed and how much they spent.
