The Student Workbook for Emergency Medical Responder: Your First Response in Emergency Care, Eighth Edition takes education beyond the textbook and classroom.
Its exercises are designed to reinforce factual knowledge, encourage critical thinking and problem solving, and ensure comprehension of patient assessment and treatment. The goal is to ensure students are prepared to achieve EMR certification and succeed as professional EMS clinicians. To do so, and to help meet the needs of different learning styles, each Workbook chapter contains a variety of exercises and question types. Examples include the following:
