RCTS Publications is delighted to offer its latest publication.  This is the latest collaboration with respected author Michael Clemens and it features a further set of images taken from the photographic archives of Ellis James-Robertson, Alan Maund and the author's father, Jim Clemens.  The author's distinctive style of presenting a commentary of the journey is supplemented with images relating to the section of the journey being described.

This book covers the time-period of mid-1950s through to the mid-60s plus an occasional image from the early diesel days in the 1970s.  The journey begins as normal at Cheltenham Spa Malvern Road in 1959 and heads in a south westerly direction via Andoversford, Cirencester, Swindon including the Works, Chippenham, Calne, the M&SWJR, the S&D via Bath, Radstock and more.  Then, heading west, we arrive on Southern metals and see Crediton, Barnstaple, Taunton, Minehead, Exeter, Newton Abbot and Kingswear.  There are many branches visited along the journey as well.

The contents include a fully illustrated GWR route map from Worcester depot as well as the many high-resolution images made on the journey and explained in the text.
