Full Description
This collection of essays written by educators from the USA and four other countries highlights the challenges of teaching, reading, writing, and translating in the light of recent developments with Large Language Models and other artificial intelligence tools. This collection seeks to aid educators and researchers in universities in English-speaking countries to develop innovative methods for teaching while using AI tools. The current volume covers the ethical aspects of using AI as well as enhancing teaching with the use of AI. There are chapters on how AI can enhance teaching English as a second language, create avenues for authentic storytelling using AI, enhance critical thinking opportunities for students, and provide practical tools for teachers and professors to implement AI in the classroom. The chapters in this anthology offer practical advice and describe first-hand experiences of educators across the disciplines on the impact and potential of AI in the classroom.
