This book in twelve chapters justifies women's study and preservation of sacred texts, through the theme of 'Huldah's Cupboard', discusses how to learn Hebrew and its liturgy which carries over into the Greek Testament, Jesus' Gospel preference for women and other outsiders, Christianity as formerly 'the religion of women and slaves', how women participated with the production of the Purple Gospels and shared in the translation of the Vulgate from Hebrew and Greek into Latin, used Bibles as their pilgrim guides, wrote and preached in defiance of Paul, wrote novels and poems using the Bible, and wrote and published on the Lord's Prayer. The final chapter, The Millstone in the Ocean, discusses clergy abuse.
