Full Description
This book aims to be a textbook and a reference guide for Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinicians and trainees, junior doctors, general practitioners, and every healthcare professional that manages patients with ENT-related disease. It contains a comprehensive review of the commonly (and less commonly) used drug categories in everyday clinical practice, including a brief history (where relevant), pharmacological properties, side effects and special considerations. Drug categories like corticosteroids, antihistamines, biologics, antibiotics and decongestants, among others, are presented with focus on the most relevant information to enhance the clinicians' knowledge and improve therapeutic outcomes for the benefit of our patients. The information is presented in a simple but scientific manner with the principles of evidence-based practice in mind.
