Full Description
Sustainability for Engineering and Science provides a comprehensive overview of sustainability issues related to the built environment and in line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. It presents a broad interdisciplinary coverage of topics by instructors from Sapienza University of Rome, covering energy transition, sustainable use of resources and circular economy, sustainable mobility, hydroclimatology and water cycle sustainability, ecology and ecosystem services and the related legal framework. By presenting a compendium of themes in an introductory but technically exact way, this challenges students to recognise their interrelation and demonstrates the need for specialists to work in the overarching context.
