Full Description
This book describes a time when Roe Green Village in Kingsbury, NW London, had just been built (1918) and the children could play freely in the woods and fields that surrounded the area as far as the eye could see. It takes you from horsedrawn carts to the horsepower of the car. Memories taken from the children who were born and brought up at that time. Research of the immediate area with photographs showing the changes and the community right up to 2018. A unique history told by the residents who were young children when they arrived in the village.
