This CD-ROM presents two highly interactive case studies on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/congestive heart failure and hypertension, plus two interactive tutorials on pathophysiology of these diseases. The new clinical simulations format - combining extensive tutorials with case studies - fosters both acquisition and application of knowledge. The presentation incorporation narration, colour photographs, medical illustrations, animations and video clips. Users can interact with content and receive ongoing feedback for their selections. A printable scored test follows each case or tutorial. Continuing education (CE) credit is available for users who complete the program and meet minimum proficiency levels.
