This tenth volume of the "Print Networks" series contains eleven original contributions by scholars working on periodicals and newspapers in the British Isles, outside London. The essays focus on the period between 1740 and 1914, including some case studies of individual publishers and their experiences in the print market. This volume demonstrates the cultural and political significance of newspapers and periodicals and their producers.
