There is general agreement that 'Orientalism' is in crisis. This cross-cultural dialogue between the insiders, the Orientals, and the European cultural tradition, Orientalism, seeks to clear the way for a new Orientalism, striving towards a deeper and more informed understanding between East and West, and contributing to the debate concerning the Other.
