IVs are utilized in all care settings including home care. This program discusses and describes the various types of IV access and their uses, including advantages, disadvantages, and safety precautions. The role of the nurse with regard to central lines is discussed, and infusion procedures are described in detail and reinforced using realistic scenarios.
