This book focuses on developing a holistic sustainability assessment model for built environment that can help in identifying sustainability issues and parameters for the built environment. It covers a wide range of sustainable built form issues in the local and regional contexts.
The volume identifies significant built form sustainability indicators, criteria and sub-criterion while highlighting the importance of incorporating sustainability principles and assessment of sustainability. It also discusses the data collection process for defining priorities of sustainability parameters using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique.
