This book begins with a discussion of the general principles and equipment used in nuclear medicine including tracers, cameras, quality control procedures, tomography data processing and protection from radiation and carries on to explore diagnostic techniques relating to systems of the body, including cerebrovascular and cardiovascular, endocrine, GI, hepatic and skeletal. The last few chapters investigate tumour and infection imaging, concluding with a look at new devices and techniques to be developed in the future.
