In each unit, children read and study a lead text, undertake activities related to the key language points, and then write their own text in the same genre. This gives valuable guidance for shared and guided writing. The workbooks include assessment at the end of infant and junior years (Year 2/P3 and Year 6/P7). They also provide SATs preparation, and reading and writing practice.
