For one-quarter/semester Introductory Art Appreciation courses.Laurie Schneider Adams helps students understand that art is an integral part of everyday life. She asks students to consider how art is created and defined using the words of contemporary artists themselves. The Making and Meaning of Art teaches students that art is not only located in museums, but is also relevant to their own lives.
